Basketball - Sign-ups for 2010 Season
The sign up dates have come and gone, but ABC will accept late sign ups on an "as space available" basis. Send the child's name, date of birth, and best contact name and phone number on the Contact ABC page.
We do all we can to place everyone on a team, but teams do fill up and therefore team placement cannot be guaranteed.
The sign-up and ID card sessions will be in the Rudy Room at ABC Ball Park (10050 Livingston Avenue, St. Ann, MO -- just north of St. Charles Rock Road and St. Gregory Lane - 1 1/2 miles east of Northwest Plaza).
Only recreational teams are allowed to play in ABC's youth league. Age levels for our basketball teams are:
NOTE: Players MUST be at least 5 years old prior to January 1, 2010 -- and not over 14 years old on January 1, 2010.
There is no cost to register as an individual player. Team registration cost is $500 ($275 for 5 to 8 year old "PeeWee" teams). Each player pays his/her share of the team fee only after being placed on a team.
The 2010 basketball season will start in early January and continue through early March. Each team will play 10 games during the season.
Photo ID's are required for all basketball players and can be obtained at the sign-up sessions or on any special ID card dates. Be sure to bring proof of age (birth certificate, old ID, etc.), $5.00 to cover the cost, and the player (preferably with a smiling face!). ID cards are valid for 3 years. ID's used for other ABC sport programs (if not expired) can be used for basketball. Let the sign-up staff know if you have an ID from another sport.
