Sign up sessions for the 2010 season will be held in ABC's Rudy Room on:
-
Saturday, July 17 -- 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
-
Sunday, August 1 -- 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm
The sign up dates have passed.... Now what??
The formal sign up sessions for ABC's 2010 recreational soccer program have already been held and we took on a bunch of late sign ups as well, however......
All teams are full and we can no longer accept sign ups for the 2010 soccer season.
Who can play?
Boys (age 5 through 13) and girls (age 5 through 17) are eligible to play. Players MUST be at least 5 years old BEFORE August 1, 2010. Only recreational level teams play in ABC's soccer league. See the soccer age chart for specific age divisions and date cutoffs.
There are no residency requirements to play in ABC's youth sports programs. ABC Ball Park is a not-for-profit youth sports organization and is collectively owned by the families whose children participate in its sports programs. If you can get here, you can play here!
What is the cost?
There is no initial cost to register as an individual player at ABC. Players pay their share of the team fee when placed on a team. Team registration fees are:
$325 - Training League teams (Pee Wee 1 and Pee Wee 2) – 10 game season
$525 - U-10 (8 on 8) – 12 game season
$675 - Older than U-10 (U-12, U-14, HS) – 12 game season
Photo ID Cards
Photo ID cards are required for all soccer players. Those needing a photo ID card for the upcoming season must come to one of the ID Card sessions scheduled prior to the season:
- Saturday, July 17 -- 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Sunday, August 1 -- 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm
- Saturday, August 14 -- 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm
Bring the following:
- Proof of age (birth certificate, expired ID, etc.)
- $8.00 for the cost of the ID card
- The player (preferably with a smiling face!)
ID cards are valid for 2 years. ID cards used for other ABC sport programs are valid for all ABC youth sports. Let the sign up session staff know if you have an ID from another sport (it can be used in lieu of a birth certificate!).
When are the games played?
The 2010 season will begin on Sunday, September 12 and continue into early November.
Games are played on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings at 6:15 pm and 7:45 pm, and all day Sunday (beginning at 12:00 noon). Additional days may be scheduled depending on need.
Training League teams (Pee Wee 1 and 2) will play games according to the above schedule, except games will usually not be scheduled in Monday or Wednesday's late time slot (7:45 pm).
Youth league teams play a 12 game season. Training League teams (Pee-wee 1 and Pee Wee 2 age groups) play 10 games.
When are the practices?
Practice schedules are determined by each individual team.
